A whole-child, nature-rich education rooted in developmental wisdom and community care.
At Schoolhouse – The Village, learning unfolds with purpose and presence. Grounded in educational philosophies like Charlotte Mason, inquiry-based learning, and the power of multi-age mentorship, we support children in developing strong academic foundations alongside emotional intelligence, creativity, and confidence.
Our programs honor each child’s developmental stage, offering age-appropriate scaffolding that nurtures executive functioning, curiosity, and a lifelong love of learning. From playful exploration in the early years to deeper academic engagement and self-direction in middle school, our approach grows with your child.
Families are collaborators in this journey — joining in rhythms of learning, gathering, and growing together.

In Sprouts, children are welcomed into learning through gentle structure, hands-on play, and discovery. With one to two consistent teachers, they build a secure base through nature exploration, storytelling, rhythm, and joyful learning rooted in Charlotte Mason-inspired principles.
Saplings begin to branch out — diving deeper into the why and how of the world. Core subjects like math and literacy are interwoven with science, art, and collaborative inquiry. It’s a space to build confidence, nurture curiosity, and explore through both structure and freedom.

In Canopy, students are offered more choice and independence. Academic cores are paired with electives that honor personal interests. Guided by mentors, they step into leadership, hone their voices, and prepare for the next season of growth — all while rooted in community.
